One of our city projects that invited participation via an open call is the art in public space project Stadt-Galerie.

20 showcases, shop windows, display cases and vacant business premises

in St. Pölten's city center comprise the "Stadt-Galerie", which extends

from Linzer Straße via Rathausgasse to Wiener Straße and the Herrenhof and can be seen from September 12 to October 6.

Local and national artists were selected by a jury through a freely accessible open call to develop and exhibit artistic works on the themes of ecology, remembrance and democracy.

Together with local cooperation partners, they are now filling these vacant spaces with new life, providing impetus for public spaces and showing visual art and works with text, photo, sound or video.
