Tina Wintersteiger
Biography
Tina Wintersteiger is an architect, passionate community gardener and expert in the construction of earth cellars and the associated practical fresh storage of fruit and vegetables. As an architecture student at the Academy of Fine Arts, Wintersteiger worked with Elisabeth Zeininger to design several interaction-friendly furniture options for the foyer on the campus of the University of Vienna. Together with Dorothee Huber (Department of Urban Planning and Design, TU Vienna), Tina Wintersteiger (Bauteiler, Materialnomaden) supervised the students of the raum&designstrategien department of the University of Art and Design Linz, who were invited to implement the activation concept of Biennale Urbana for the festival center in the Löwinnenhof*.
