Theater Perpetuum
Biography
The independent theater group Perpetuum has been enlivening the St. Pölten cultural scene with creativity and passion on stage for 40 years. This unique troupe was founded in 1983 by students from St. Pölten and director Bernhard Paumann. The passion for theater allowed the group to grow over the years. Perpetuum has made a virtue out of the necessity of not having a theater of its own and has performed "Odyssey" in a pond, "Hödlmoser" in a pub, "Eine Mittsommernachtssexkomödie" in a park and "Kunst" in a cinema. The Theater brings productions of new and classic, bizarre and serious, musical and unknown plays to the stage, away from the mainstream.
