Sigrid Horn Trio
Biography
The singer-songwriter Sigrid Horn (1990, Mostviertel) has made a name for herself as a critical, thoughtful voice with her three albums to date. Accompanied by Sarah Metzler (harp, voice) and Bernhard Scheiblbauer (concertina, ukulele, piano, voice), Sigrid Horn and her trio present a mixture of new Viennese songs, improvisational joy and language play. Horn began her creative work as part of the dialect group Wosisig, with whom she performed several times at the FM4 Protest Song Contest. Socio-critical and feminist themes run like a red thread through her artistic existence. She presented her second album "i bleib do" at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and was voted one of the 50 most important Austropop albums of the last 50 years by the newspaper Falter.
