Rina Treml
Biography
Rina Treml (1981, Tyrol) is an architect, graphic designer and artist. She studied architecture as well as graphic and communication design in Innsbruck, Lund (Sweden) and Vienna. After several years of professional experience she researches the areas of intersection and combines them in various art and architecture projects through transdisciplinary exchange. Treml deals with temporary interventions in (urban) space, collective processes and performances that are rooted in subjective myths and feminist attitudes. In her search for the visible and the invisible, memories and their gaps, her field of action is often public space. Together with Agatha Hauser-Zronek, Rina Treml runs the studio dietail, which conducts research at the crossroads between architecture, gender, art and society. Rina Treml lives and works in North and South Tyrol.
