Netti Nüganen
Biography
Netti Nüganen (1995) is a performance artist and musician based between Vienna and Tallinn. She uses the performative moment as an occasion to create new ways of storytelling that could rupture the existing structures and habits. Nüganen creates characters such as weightlifters, teenage vloggers, historians, metalheads and more, which she places on the border of established genres. Her work has been shown at Kanuti Gildi SAAL, Tartu Art Museum, Uferstudios, Lisbon Film Festival, My Wild Flag Festival, Sequences Reykjavik and Tanzquartier, among others. Next to that she has been touring since 2017 with Florentina Holzinger’s performances "Apollon", "Tanz" and "Ophelia’s Got Talent".
