Martin Schlatzer (Ernährungsökologe)
Biography
Martin Schlatzer (1979) is a nutritional ecologist at the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) in Vienna. He studied nutritional sciences with a focus on nutrition, environment and health at the University of Vienna and worked at the Center for Global Change and Sustainability at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU Vienna) from 2010 to 2021. His focus is on interdisciplinary research projects related to agriculture, climate change and food security. Schlatzer is a guest lecturer at various universities and institutions and author of the book "Tierproduktion und Klimawandel – ein wissenschaftlicher Diskurs zum Einfluss der Ernährung auf Umwelt und Klima", published in 2010. As a speaker, Martin Schlatzer shares his scientific expertise on plant-based nutrition.
