Martin Kirchner (Pioneers of Change)
Biography
Martin Kirchner is the initiator and managing director of "Pioneers of Change", a non-profit association founded in 2015 with a focus on "Education for Sustainable Development". "Pioneers of Change" motivates, inspires and supports people in developing their potential, finding their vision and setting up innovative projects, civil society initiatives and sustainable companies. Kirchner was originally a computer scientist and developed environmental management software for the industry. He trained as a systemic business coach, business trainer, trainer for non-violent communication and permaculture designer, and led coaching seminars, was a speaker and consultant for NGOs in the education sector and a trainer for project management. After many years of involvement in the Global Ecovillage Network, Martin Kirchner developed the cohousing project "Pomali", where he has lived with his wife and three children since 2013. Since 2017, he has been organizing the annual "Pioneers of Change Online Summit" with over 50,000 participants and prominent guests.
