Martha Keil (wiss. Leiterin INJOEST)
Biography
Martha Keil (1958, Vienna) is an Austrian historian and Judaist. She has been Director of the Institute for Jewish History in Austria (INJOEST) since 2004. She has been closely associated with INJOEST since its foundation in 1988. Initially as a member of staff and deputy director until she finally took over as director in 2004. In addition to research, communication is also at the center of her work - designing exhibitions, guided tours, lectures and workshops. Since 2016 Senior Scientist at the Institute für Austrian Historical Research, University of Vienna. Since October 2022, Martha Keil holds the scientific management of the Institute.
