Markus Weidman-Krieger (Ökologe)
Biography
Markus Weidmann-Krieger is the ecological director and park developer at the Solektiv association. As a founding member of the LAMES art association, he has spent almost half his life fighting for the preservation and expansion of the "Sonnenpark - Park der Vielfalt" in St. Pölten. In recent years, Weidmann-Krieger has completed two training courses in agriculture and forestry. He has also started a Master's degree in "Ecological Garden and Green Space Management" at the Donau University. His work focuses on improving the quality of life, the Sonnenparkfest and culture of celebration, (bio)diversity, intercultural community gardens, sponsorship of plants and squares.
