Biography
Luna Al-Mousli (1990, Melk) lives and works as a freelance author, graphic designer and illustrator in Vienna. She grew up in Damascus (Syria) and returned to Austria in 2005, where she later studied Graphic Design at the University of Applied Arts. Luna Al-Mousli's life and work move between art, literature and social commitment and build a bridge between cultures. In this way, she promotes encounters and getting to know each other in an empathetic and critical way. As قamareen (Qamareen), Al-Mousli plays her favorite feel-good SWANA sounds and seamlessly mixes pop, indie and electronic beats. Her sets take you on a musical journey where the lyrics are just as important as the melody.
