Biography
Dieter Kovačič (1973, Graz) aka dieb13 has been a protagonist of turntablism since his beginnings in the 1990s. He not only delves deep into the noisy, abstract sounds of vinyl, but also adds breaks to the sound and creates independent, almost animistic soundscapes that glide from one mood to the next through gentle fadings and overlays. In 2000, the Austrian improviser founded the klingt.org platform for experimental music from Austria.
