Andreas Fränzl
Biography
Andreas Fränzl is an artist, musician and curator and graduated in painting and graphics from the Angewandte in Vienna in 2000. He is known as a founding member of Bauchklang (1995) and the art and culture association Lames/SOLEKTIV (1998). Fränzl has made a name for himself as a painter and graphic artist as well as a singer and DJ and has been honored with various awards for his artistic achievements, including the Lower Austrian Culture Prize, Youngster of Arts (1996, 1998, 2001) and Amadeus Award (2002-2010). He is currently working as a curator for the Festival Tangente St. Pölten.
