Alicia Edelweiss
Biography
Alicia Edelweiss (1992) grew up in Waidhofen/Ybbs in Lower Austria and lives and works as a singer-songwriter in Vienna. Edelweiss discovered her passion and talent for music when she began her musical career as a street musician at the age of 19. Strongly influenced by the anti-folk movement in New York, the Austrian-British musician found the courage to start songwriting. In 2012, she recorded her first EP "I should have been overproduced", three weeks after she had even started writing songs. In 2016, she released her self-recorded debut album "Mother, how could you – a sick tragic comedy in 10 acts". Whether with accordion, ukulele or guitar, her voice moves and her performances inspire.
